  Pictures don't do justice to the beauty of the trees this garden has to offer. 10bucks entry fee totally worth it. Get here quick before the trees wither. Apparently autumn and spring are the best times to visit this place. Do get prepared to be lost in the maze of this garden. I'm so not kidding. That's the only complaint I have. But.. It's a good kind of getting lost =)

  Brought my 5kg puppy to the gardens and the staff (a group of 4) would not let me in, claimed that my dog would scare the birds and ruin the woods... I said I'll just hold him at all time but they still wouldn't let me in. Then yesterday, my friend brought her dog and they let her in. All my other friends have never heard of Mount Macedon being doggie-unfriendly. I searched online and see no pages or tourists info saying dogs cannot enter the garden/park. The Macedon Ranges Council website says clearly that dogs can even be unleashed.

  Autunm and spring the best time to visit this garden. Colorful trees and flowers. Fountains arches and statues. All types of gardens in one place . Including Japanese and Europe styles.
